what mariel made: diy india ink engagement card

One of my dear friends became engaged earlier this year in April, so of course I had to immediately make a card to congratulate her. Currently, I’m more into the floral print trend (probably influenced by Rifle Paper Co. and the warmer spring/summer weather), so I chose some colors that reminded me of the bride-to-be, put on an episode of Star Trek: Voyager on Netflix, and got to work!

I used India inks to make this card (check out a more detailed post on the specific brand of india inks that I used here). Also, here’s a *quick tip for fellow DIY card makers. Simply buy a bulk pack of brown paper envelopes because more or less, they’re going to match with almost any card that you create, and it’s so affordable to buy them in bulk!

Thanks for sticking around, y’all!

Have a blessed day/night.
